I have a customized Team Build process template that has been working just fine for years in VS2013.
I am going to have to stop using VS2013 and so I opened the solution in VS2017. When I open the process template, I see hundreds of errors. It can't find well-known variables such as Workspace. And well-known activities such as Microsoft.Teamfoundation.Build.Client.BuildMessageImportance.Normal yield a compiler error.
The build actually still works, but seeing hundreds of errors that are not real errors makes finding true errors difficult when I modify the process template.
Any help would be appreciated. I would also like to know if VS2019 supports Team Builds.
This is really a Team Build question not an MSBuild question, but there is not option for that. If this is not the correct forum for this question, please direct me to the one that is correct.
