In the Visual Studio Command Prompt (Windows XP machine 32-bit) devenv is not opening up the IDE, butdevenv.exe is working and it opens up IDE. I would like to know what could have possibly went wrong on my machine.
One more issue I'm facing is when building the solution in VS command prompt (I had to use devenv.exe instead of devenv). Earlier, the solution will be completly built, all the log messages will be logged in the command prompt and then exit out. But now, even when building the solution the command prompt is exiting out.
It would be better if someone can help me out.
